Film and TV
Lulu plays the politically incorrect "Cassandra Downie" in the SBS comedy musical 'Bogan Pride'.
In the past few years Lulu has really enjoyed the diversity of the characters that she has been lucky enough to play. From the drumming country town girl "Barassi", in 'Valentines Day' for the ABC. To the ever happy event coordinator "Bonie" in 'Aquamarine' for Fox studios, each character has given her the opportunity to learn new skills and meet fabulous people.
Learning to play the drum for 'Valentines Day' was challenging to say the least, and at the beginning rather daunting, but Lulu is happy to say that it became an instrument that she now has a lot of respect for!
Recently Lulu made a short film "The Pistachio Effect" for two up and coming directors Nick Ball and Gus Johnston, it was not only a fun character to play, the neurotic, mean, rude girlfriend"Donna". But she also had the pleasure of writing a song as a teaser for the film and performing in the clip, which can be seen on you tube. Also her dog Dinky, a chihuahua landed a role in both the film and teaser and steals the show. The film has been entered into the 2009 Tropfest short film festival.
